Antonino Fogliani is considered one of the most exciting conductors of his generation.

Born in Messina in 1976, he debuted in 2001 at the Rossini Opera Festival in Pesaro leading Rossini's Il Viaggio a Reims. Just turned to 27 y.o., he was invited to the Teatro alla Scala in Milan to conduct Ugo conte di Parigi by Gaetano Donizetti.

His career took him fastly on the podium of the most important international theaters.

He performed more than 50 operas and made important recordings of Rossini, Donizetti, Verdi, Mercadante and Vaccaj.

Since 2011 Antonino Fogliani is Music Director of the Festival Rossini in Wildbad in Germany.
